What is stock market?
Stock Market is a place where people can buy and sell shares and get profits. Now the first question is "what is stock ?"

Stock is a form of equity or security or share which indicates that the holder has some portion of ownership in the issuing corporation. People can buy and sell the stocks in the stock exchange.
People buy and sell shares in stock exchange to earn money. Let's understand with an example: a person buy 1 share of ABC company at price 100 and sell that share at price 600 (when price goes up in the stock market) this buy and sell makes 500 (600-100 = 500) profit or earning.

The investors can buy and sell shares at the same time in the stock market this makes the movement in the market through which the price gets changed. There are so many other factors that effects market movement we will discussed it later in this blog.
There are two types of investors:
1. Institutional investor : These are the large entities like commercial banks, central banks, government linked companies etc.
2. Individual investor : These are non professional investors who can buy or sell shares through brokerage firm or saving account.
These are some basic things but there is a lot of to know about the stock market and the more you understand things in stock market, the better it will be for your earnings.
How can you earn or make profit through stock market?
The earnings from the stock market can be done through a good trade. You should know how to trade? when to trade? where to trade? and the most important thing is when to buy and sell shares??
A Trade is when you buy shares at stock exchange and you will get shares in your account, this process is called trade without trade you cannot get shares.
These following points can help you for good trade to earn profit:
1. Knowledge : Get a good knowledge about stock market. Study as much as you can about the stock market there is so much to learn about it. More knowledge will give you good understanding then you can take good decision for investmet in stock market.
2. News and announcements : Keep eyes on news and announcements every day. View Financial news, daily news, financial announcements.
3. History and performance : Collect maximum details of past history of the company in which you want to invest . Know about Company's performance in past years, company's growth etc.
4. Opportunity : Don't hurry.. wait for the opportunity to trade, let the share comes down and buy at a good level, buy at lower price and also wait for the price when it goes up then sell the shares.
5. Segment : Choose the segment in which you want to invest and get to know about the behaviour of that segment and company for example : banking, aviation industry, health insurance, pharma, food industry etc.
